Evidence-based, Outcome-driven, Parent-owned Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Provider for Children with Autism (ASD) and Families

Autism.

A condition that benefits from expert and intensive treatment early on.

Why We’re Different?

Our carefully crafted program and quality outcomes are valued by families with autistic children for the following reasons:

Time is of the essence when it comes to getting your child into ABA treatment, if appropriate.

Call us

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • Disappointed with treatment experiences around her, our CEO was determined to bring another option to market for your children. We are proud to be owned by a family just like yours.

    • Because you deserve the best for your little one, we provide empathetic support to navigate the extra challenging, yet rewarding (promise!), path of neurodiversity.

    • We are glad you are here. Each client is unique. We provide high-standard services to all. However, know that our treatment plans reflect the individuality of each client and family. With us, your values, beliefs, and goals are central.

    • We should be undeniably, inexcusably, without a doubt, our best for your best. We view our role in your lives as mission-critical. Whatever your care journey looks like, we are proud to be a part of it. Thank you for choosing us to treat your little one.

    Others:

Many providers are owned by private equity or venture capitalist investors who are motivated by short-term financial returns rather than by a personal connection to autism and an unwavering commitment to clinical integrity and quality outcomes.

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • Our clinicians are experienced and goal-oriented. They are highly committed to clinical integrity and apply our standardized care protocols while building individualized treatment for your little one.

    • Our outcomes rely upon heavily researched and data-driven methods. This means that treatment decisions are solely based on what can be observed and measured.

    Others:

Some programs use emerging or unestablished methods with little to no clinical research supporting their effectiveness.

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • We help determine priorities and sequence them wherever you are in your care journey. Our support extends from making you aware of early signs, encouraging you to have your loved one screened and possibly diagnosed, to providing effective Applied Behavior Analysis care.

    • We offer caregiver coaching to help create a strong continuum of care outside of official treatment.

    • We are developping our integrated, multidisciplinary offer to bring all services you may need for your little one’s care in-house.

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • In addition to our insurance-funded or education-funded services, we provide a concierge option for self-pay families.

    • This option allows a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead direct therapy sessions with your child instead of delegating them to behavior technicians (under the BCBA’s supervision). Nothing is lost in translation.

    • As progress is directly correlated with the experience of the clinicians involved, this model can be highly effective.

    Others:

Only technicians run treatment sessions. Recent graduates with limited experience create and implement your child’s treatment program, with sometimes little supervision.

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • ALL employees receive extensive, in-person training from our clinical leadership prior to working with your child.

    • Senior clinicians spend significant time mentoring our staff to equip them with the skills and perspective to drive great outcomes.

    Others:

Employees meet the minimum threshold of a GED and limited online training to work with your child one-on-one.

Therapists and BCBAs often feel overburdened, under-resourced, and isolated, without clinical experts to learn from or turn to with questions.

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • Small and nimble, we are a flexible and efficient organization with excellence, integrity, ownership, collaboration, and positivity at its core.

    • Clients and families can count on reliable, professional, efficient, and effective services. If we ever miss the mark, please provide us with your prompt and candid feedback so we can course-correct immediately.

    Others

Many agencies led by clinicians provide a bumpy care journey.

  • A Step At A Time Care:

    • We come to you wherever that is - at home, in school, or in the community.

    • In-home is an ideal delivery setting because:

      - most behaviors are observable in a child’s natural environment

      - the skills learned at a desk in therapy (DTT) can be immediately generalized to the home environment

      - in-home delivery better facilitates the necessary caregiver training

      - in-home delivery accommodates caregiver schedules.

β€œOur son was still not forming words by 12 months. He was just uttering syllables. Our family members were convinced that he was a late bloomer. 18 months came and went. Still nothing. I knew we were in denial.”

Olivia Anton - parent of a child with ASD

Evidence-based, Outcome-driven, Parent-owned Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Provider for Children with Autism (ASD) and Families

β€œI’ll never forget that pivotal moment. I was watching this Netflix show called The Speed Cubers. It turns out the fastest Rubik’s Cube solver is autistic. Iβ€˜m sitting in the recliner chair, watching and I hear: β€œWhat most parents don’t know is that hand-leading and lack of pointing with an index are two core deficits often associated with early autism”. The glass almost fell out of my hand. My stomach sank. I just knew: my son is autistic. This occurred nearly two months before anyone else realized the same.”

Keith Finley - parent of a child with ASD

β€œThat is when I realized I had to be my son's advocate and perhaps for the rest of his life. Half of this battle is mental. Your heart dies a little bit every day as you see your child not doing something that he should be doing or doing something that he shouldn’t.”

Patrick Elvira - parent of a child with ASD

Avoid denial.

Obtain a clinical diagnosis fast.

YOU are your little one’s advocate.

NO ONE else will fight.

Become the MVP on your child’s team.

β€œOur daughter was atypically stressed by social interactions. She couldn't stay in the same room as our close friends without having uncontrollable meltdowns. She was also not great with eye contact. She overreacted a lot. At the playground, she was terrified of going in a swing and had fight-or-flight reactions. No one could tell us what was the matter. It was such a grey area. I just felt like a total failure. We didn't know how to help her. We were really in the dark back then.”

Channing Lee - parent of a child with ASD

We echo your emotions.

Evidence-based, Outcome-driven, Parent-owned Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Provider for Children with Autism (ASD) and Families

β€œABA therapy has been absolutely pivotal in the development of our daughter. It was a long journey to get to her autism diagnosis, and once we were there and started therapy, it was night and day - almost instantly. She is a completely different child now, capable of self-regulating her emotions better and starting to articulate herself. There's still a long way to go, as she is only 3 years old, but I'm so grateful we obtained early support.”

Gregory Perkins - parent of a child with ASD

ABA therapy actually works.

We bring you flawless execution of the gold standard of autism treatment.
