Niesha Leonard | BCBA, CT LBA

Niesha has been a BCBA since 2024. She began her career in the field in 2019 as a paraprofessional in the DOE and has since held a variety of roles including RBT, ABA Instructor, Lead Behavior Therapist, and now Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Over the years, she has worked with individuals aged 2 to 21 with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, intellectual and cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and physical disabilities, across school, home, and community settings. Originally from the Caribbean, Niesha moved to the United States in 2015 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist.

While that goal remains, her passion for ABA grew as she obtained her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and pursued a career in the field. Niesha is recognized for her compassion and dedication to the individuals and families she serves—a strength she attributes to her ability to personally relate to many of the challenges her clients face.

In her free time, Niesha enjoys reading, the beach, working out, and being an avid napper.
