Melanie Porter, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is licensed in CT earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of CT and master's degree in applied behavior analysis from Western CT State University. She has been working with individuals with behavioral and developmental disabilities for over 12 years in multiple different settings, including school, clinic, home and daycare settings. 

Melanie has experience working with individuals ages two-sixteen years of age, and has a strong interest in early intervention through natural environment teaching methods. Her experience includes conducting functional behavior assessments, creating individualized behavior support plans, and also training direct-level staff and caregivers on implementation of behavior treatment plans, and skill acquisition programs. 

Melanie has experience collaborating with multiple different providers to ensure that the client and family have the best  possible outcomes!  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, watching movies and travelling.
