Joanne Jacques, M.S. | BCBA, CT-LBA

Joanne is a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Connecticut Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with over 20 years of experience supporting children with diverse developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Her background as both a BCBA and Certified School Psychologist provides her with a comprehensive understanding of child development, behavior, and individualized intervention. She holds a Master of Science and a Sixth Year Professional Diploma in School Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut.

Joanne has extensive experience conducting functional behavioral assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans, supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and collaborating closely with families and other service providers. She is committed to implementing evidence-based interventions that promote functional communication, independence, skill acquisition, and meaningful behavior change.

Joanne particularly values the opportunity to work directly with families in the home setting, where interventions can be individualized to address everyday challenges and promote the generalization of skills across natural environments. Her approach emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care, collaborative problem-solving, and practical strategies that empower caregivers to support their child’s continued growth and success.

Joanne takes pride in building positive relationships with clients, families, and staff while maintaining high professional and ethical standards in the delivery of ABA services.
